Are you interested in learning about wildlife recording?
NBRC, in partnership with the Rockingham Forest Vision and the National Lottery Heritage fund, will be hosting a Free series of guided walks on Saturday 17th June in Hazel and Thoroughsale Wood, Corby with the help of county recorders and the Northamptonshire Natural History Society.
During these guided walks you will get an introduction to recording and identifying species. The county recorders will cover a range of species including Plants, Fungi, Birds and Insects
We will also be providing hands on sessions to show how you can use Photography for recording as well as introductions to microscopy to identify microorganisms.

Mobility
The paths at Hazel and Thoroughsale Wood can be narrow and muddy. Unsuitable for wheelchair access

Pen/ Pencil and notebook
Camera or phone (Essential for photography workshop)
Please come prepared for mud and weather! Long sleeves and long trousers are advised, to avoid bites and stings, and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting muddy.
